A word from the Head of the Radiology Department

The field of radiology is one of the modern fields in the medical field compared to the other medical departments, especially after the great discovery of X-rays on the eighth of November of the year 1895 AD, as this is the actual birth date for this field.
As for the radiology department in Dammam, it is considered one of the most important medical departments at Al-Ghad International College for Health Sciences with all its branches spread in the Kingdom, as it includes more than thirty faculty members, lecturers, laboratory supervisors, and clinical training in addition to laboratories that contain the most modern devices and equipment.
The department has a mission which is to provide the highest levels of quality in education and training by professors of various Specialties, qualified trainers and effective leadership interested in continuing education and research according to ethical standards while continuing to improve the overall quality. A clear vision emerges from this thesis by graduating medical staff in the fields of radiology, capable of translating knowledge and study into a practical reality consistent with the Kingdom's 2030 vision.
As for the period of study in this specialization, it is four academic years in addition to the year of excellence, which allows the student to acquire adequate training in the various devices and departments and acquaint them with special techniques, which makes the graduate qualified to conduct any examinations or tests on the various devices.
In view of the multiplicity of Specialties and experiences of faculty members and the distinction of students in the department, we expect a bright future, God willing, which will have a positive impact on graduates in particular and society in general, With my best regards and best wishes to all.

The nursing profession is considered a noble human profession, and nursing has become an essential part of the health community system. Nursing is the pulsating heart of the hospital. The nursing profession is among the professions that needs patience, responsibility and compassionate care. It is a humanitarian and most important profession aimed at caring for the health of and taking preventive measures for the individual, family and society.
 The Department of Nursing in Al-Ghad Colleges in Dammam seeks to create an advanced educational environment equipped with the latest and most modern classrooms, smart devices and simulation laboratories. It also facilitates and fosters the learning under a distinguished and highly qualified faculty members holding Ph.D., masters and bachelor’s degrees to further enhance research and foster continuous professional development.
The Department of Nursing is considered one of the most important departments that were established at Al-Ghad International Colleges of Applied Medical Sciences in 1430 AH and it aims to graduate national health care professionals  qualified technically to practice the nursing profession in health institutions and multiple community services through what it offers from accredited educational programs and scientific research specialized in the field of nursing to meet the growing demand for nursing specialties in the local and regional market.
The number of credit hours for this program is 130 credit hours divided into 8 levels over four academic years in addition to a full training year in hospitals.
