A word from the Head of the preparatory year Department.  

The preparatory year at AlGhad College for Applied Medical Sciences is the first step and challenge for students, as this year contains courses in Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Biostatistics.
The program aims to motivate students to have a general understanding of these subjects to help them acquire the necessary skills to pursue their university medical studies and build leading personality in its various knowledge and skills, capable of teaching and learning to succeed in global competition in the field of education  and work in the future. It also, consolidates the principles of religion and citizenship and the value in students.
Our overall goal in the preparatory year program is to prepare students to take up by developing basic English language skills, basic science knowledge, communication skills, study skills and information technology.
Successful completion of these courses enables students to directly join the college's undergraduate programs.
